Claudia Voggenreiter

Consultant

Claudia Voggenreiter is a Consultant at Mokwateh, where she designs and delivers inclusive engagement strategies tailored to the unique and diverse contexts of Indigenous communities. Her work emphasizes cultural responsiveness, collaboration, and the integration of Indigenous perspectives into policy and planning. Through facilitation, strategic advisory, and research, Claudia helps clients build meaningful relationships and advance reconciliation-focused initiatives.

Prior to joining Mokwateh, Claudia held roles at Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) in the Impact Assessment Division, Renewable and Electrical Energy Division, and Wah-ila-toos Administration Unit. She contributed to federal lands impact assessments, led strategic research on Indigenous, remote, and Northern electricity policy, and supported the alignment of federal programs with Crown consultation obligations – helping to establish best practices for respectful and effective engagement with Indigenous communities.

Claudia holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Impact Assessment from Concordia University, where her thesis focused on empowering Indigenous leadership in the clean energy transition. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies and Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems (SAFS), and a Permaculture Design Certificate from Bishop’s University.

Originally from the Eastern Townships in Quebec, Claudia now resides in Ottawa, Ontario. She is of mixed Wendat First Nation (Wendake, QC) and European heritage, and is fluent in English and French. Outside of work, she enjoys running, hiking, film photography, and caring for her plants.
