Jennifer Szabo is a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience in strategic project management, ESG integration, Indigenous relations, and stakeholder engagement. She specializes in helping organizations navigate sustainability challenges, regulatory frameworks, and stakeholder dynamics to drive positive social and environmental impact.
Born and raised in Venezuela, Jennifer developed a deep commitment to human rights and social justice early in her career. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts and a degree in Foreign Politics from Metropolitan University, she worked with Amnesty International in Venezuela, advocating for human rights, gender equality, and corporate social responsibility. Her work in activism, policy development, and stakeholder engagement positioned her as a key player in driving systemic change. However, due to the increasingly challenging political climate and risks faced by human rights defenders, she relocated to Canada in 2009 to continue her career in a more stable environment.
Since then, Jennifer has expanded her expertise into corporate sustainability, Indigenous governance, and responsible business practices. She has led high-impact initiatives across industries, including mining, energy, and financial services, integrating ESG principles into corporate strategies and fostering collaboration between businesses and communities.
