Tara Oliver

Advisor

Tara Oliver (she/her) is a Ukrainian/Métis woman who works and resides in Treaty 6 territory. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Studies from the University of Saskatchewan. Tara is a project manager with experience leading diverse initiatives, teams, and projects. With a focus on blending people and processes, Tara has worked for Indigenous owned companies and/or Indigenous lead organizations for most of her professional career. Tara has led and contributed to work engaging with Indigenous peoples and Indigenous communities to promote reconciliation and build connection.

Tara has experience working across many industries and has led teams in developing their processes, policies, and best practices. As a highly organized and efficient project manager, Tara has developed relationships across the country and endeavors to make the process as exceptional as the final product in every engagement.

Tara is an active board member with Ferre Play Theatre, a not-for-profit theatre company that supports and develops women, femme, and nonbinary artists using theatre, a member of the Indigenous Women in Tech Research Project advisory committee, and soccer coach for the Rosewood Community Soccer Association.
