Vishva Pooranalingam is in the final year of his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics at the University of Alberta. He joined Mokwateh in the spring of 2025, bringing experience in student leadership, project coordination, and public-facing engagement.

Alongside his academic work, Vishva serves as Vice-President External of the University of Alberta Law Club, where he leads external relations, supports sponsorship and partnership development, and helps create professional development opportunities for undergraduate students interested in law. In this role, he has worked closely with legal professionals, student organizations, and community partners to strengthen the club’s outreach and expand access to law-related programming.

Previously, Vishva worked at Iconic Power Systems as a Project Management Intern, supporting large-scale energy and infrastructure projects across Western Canada. In this role, he developed strong skills in project coordination, operational planning, and field operations, contributing to the successful delivery of high-value construction projects.

Vishva is interested in law, governance, economic development, and policy, and he is passionate about contributing to work that supports communities through thoughtful research, collaboration, and relationship-building.
